Annual AGM 2025

It's that time of the year again!

Date: Thursday November 20th at 7 pm

Location: D’s Café (located at 102 20th St, Courtenay) and by Zoom

There will be a draw for 6 prizes from local businesses for AGM attendees.

Call for Nominations

Are you willing to serve your club by volunteering for a one-year term on the Board of Directors (voting) or as an Officer (non-voting)? The commitment required for a rewarding and enjoyable experience is to attend a 1.5-hour board meeting once per month where you will participate in discussions about sustaining and continuing to build our outrigger paddling community.  Most Board Members or Officers will also take on an additional project(s) to help develop and enhance our club, additional information is included in the CVCRC Board of Directors Roles and Responsibility document.

In recognition of the volunteer effort that voting Board Members put into their roles and responsibilities, their 2026 CVCRC membership fees are waived (individual or family).

In accordance with the club bylaws all Board positions are open for nominations and election each year.  

Nominations for all positions are welcome until November 10, 2025. Please submit nominations by email to: cvcrcclubsecretary@gmail.com

Nominations close on November 10, 2025. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the AGM.

Director, Past President: Rupert Wong

Directors at Large: Dean Dogherty, Michele Genge, and Ben Dorrington are incumbents.
