Saturday June 8 & Sunday June 9, 2019
Join us for two days of racing for all paddle disciplines and abilities in the Comox Valley. Saturday events include OC6 Iron distance races and a brand new long course SUP race. Sunday will include the traditional small boat race - OC1-2, surfski - and a separate SUP technical race right off the Pier at the Comox Marina Park. We are also offering a fun race for the kids.
This is Race #3 in the CORA Cup points series.
This Saturday is the big Foam Fest event in Nanoose Bay and they are advising delays on the highway between 7am and 3:30 pm Saturday. https://the5kfoamfest.com/canada/locations/nanaimo/

The SUP Technical course will happen in the harbour within clear view of the pier making it a fun spectator event.
The Small Boat event will also be determined on the day of the event based on conditions but is usually between 10 and 12 kilometers and will consist of a mixture of protected and open water.
The kids race will be entirely dependent on conditions for a safe event and will be within view of the pier.

We will have trailer spots reserved on Friday night and Saturday night at the Comox Marina Boat Launch. You may leave your rigs here overnight both nights if you wish but please be aware that although we feel security is not an issue, there will be no continuous supervision on-site and we can't guarantee the safety of your equipment. There are three awesome food trucks on site at the Comox Marina Park and there are numerous amazing eateries and shops just a short walk up to Comox Avenue.
